Recognizing the national movement toward excellence in education, the Cordell Public School Academic Foundation joins foundations in other progressive communities in establishing a channel for private funds to enrich public education.

These funds are kept in the Foundation’s accounts and do not become a part of the general fund of the Board of Education, nor are they used for basic salary or benefit expenses. The Foundation aims for equitable distribution across the school district to meet presented needs.

Any grant money not used by the teacher reverts back to the endowment.
